Sir Collins meets Deeper Knowledge Records

It’s official – Deeper Knowledge/Digi Killer are the best vinyl reissue label in the world! Just out and continuing their series of massive reissues are three Sir Collins (AKA Collins Downbeat) produced 7″ singles.

Sir Collins is probably best know for his late 60’s Collins Downbeat rocksteady 7″s and for the series of Sir Collins Music Wheel labeled and blank singles that for the most part had very limited presses in the early 70’s, it’s to this latter era that Deeper Knowledge have gone digging.

Something of a legend, recorded at Studio One – say no more.
A stupidly rare instrumental/deejay cut to You Touch My Soul originally issued on a Jamaican blank only (an original recently went for $400 on ebay!).
Again, originally on a blank only, a vocal identified as being by the Invaders backed by an unidentified deejay on the same rhythm.
