    Thompson’s Sounds

Another new player on the reggae vinyl circuit, well – new to me anyway, are Iroko Records from France. They’ve just released three nice looking 12″ singles of Linval Thompson productions from the very late 70’s and early 80’s.

    • Barry Brown – Seperation/Roots Radics – Scientist In Fine Style
Originally released on a UK Attack 12″ in 1980.

    • Linval Thompson – Give Me Back (What You Take From The Poor)/Version//Linval Thompson – Lump Sum/Version
Give Me Back was first issued on a C&E 12″. Lump Sum is the mid 80’s digital cut that was issued on a Thompson Sounds 7″.

    • Anthony Johnson – Hey Mr Richman (Extended)/Bunny Lie Lie – Don’t You Try (Extended Version)
Hey Mr Richman was first issued on a Strong Like Sampson 12″ in 1980, Don’t You Try was on the flip side of the same 12″ but credited to Barry Brown.
