It’s been over a year since Gold Shop put out any new reissues and it was beginning to look like they’d called it a day. Fortunately that’s not the case and they are back on the scene with a couple of new 12″ re-issues on the King Kustom label.
Ghetto Youth originally come out on a Justice 12″ in 1990 and is known as something of a Shaka tune which naturally means that original issues go for money (£40-£80 mark) so this reissue will be welcomed.
Cocaine and Dollars were both released on a 7″s on the Diamond Music label circa 1991. These have not usually been in demand like Ghetto Youth but are nice tracks all the same.
(Please note the sound samples above are not from the re-issue records so any crackles and pops are not on the brand new vinyl).
