Tighten Up downloads – Silver Bullet 6 November

Here is the first part of the audio I’ve been meaning to put up from our last Tighten Up session at the Silver Bullet. Part one is the Tighten Up crew and you’ll hear the end of a Gregotry tribute, a Sonia Pottinger tribute and some other tunes, mostly roots style. Part two is the mighty Steve The Hat worth an hour of scorcehers from ska to roots.

Part 3 and 4 (below) are of Professor Mark meets Steve Downbeat Melody Rice, starting off with tunes from the Professor. The skips in the audio are from the recording, their tunes didn’t jump that much! There is only an hour and a half in total as the recording got alot worse after that and is pretty much unlistenable.

If you like these styles then check us at the Silver Bullet in Finsbury Park on Saturday 4 December when Gladdy Wax (Gladdy Wax Sound) and Ras Digby (Sir Jessus) will be on the decks. More info.

    Hi Tim,

Thanks for putting these up, I was really looking forward to it. I think though that there is a problem with the files, because when you are directed to megaupload it says the files are unavailable. Just thought I would let you know. Cheers.

Thanks Laurie. It seems that Megaupload is a bit hit and miss at the moment, if the lind doesnt work return to this page and try again. I got all the links working OK after a couple of attempts.
