A while ago I made Derrick Harriot’s Solomon number 42 in the greatest 100 rocksteady tunes feature. Mel Cooke in the Gleaner does the song more justice than I ever could in a double feature based on conversations with Derrick Harriott. These tell us who wrote the tune (Junior Murvin) what tune kept it off the number one spot in jamaica (54-46) what else was recorded at the same session (Keith & Tex – Stop That Train and Tonight) and lots more.
