With Carl Meeks and the Deadly Dragon Sound

A week or so ago the Tighten Up Crew hosted a session with Carl Meeks and New York’s Deadly Dragon Sound crew called Trash And Ready Extra Large. Alongside our guests were the usual crew of Champian, Tim P and Mistah Brown plus Felix Hall, Keith Lawrence and Cool Hand Luke helping out on the decks and Daddy Ranks, Ras John I (AKA Johnny Dollar) and Gary joining Champian on mic duties.

This session was rammed as you’d expect but fortunately for those who couldn’t be there we managed to record the session. You can download three hours worth below so enjoy!

If you like these styles then check our regular monthly Sunday session at Catch in East London. We’re back this Sunday with plenty of 80’s Dancehall and Digital Reggae killers! More details here.

    • Thanks for the audio Tim! I was lucky to be in town that weekend and passed through, the vibes were nice! Carl Meeks did a nice show and Deadly Dragon played a nice set, Champion killed it with a few nice tunes on the mic. Trueschool vibes as I would say!

Thanks Tim for posting the sounds. Ridiculous that you guys do this on a monthly basis. Thanks.
