Tommy & PennyA great time was had at the Penny Reel meets Japan’s finest, Tommy Rock-A-Shacka, clash in Stoke Newington on Friday night.

Tommy deservendly took the night with a stunning Rocksteady selection. Top tunes from him included:
Charlie Ogannaire – Rude Boy Charlie
Peter Tosh – Them A Fi Get A Beating (rocksteady cut)
      Progressions – Are You Ready
      Emotions(?) – Go And Cry
Glen & Lloyd – No More Trouble

A big thanks to SkaNick and Richie for organising this. I’m looking forward to the next one already.

On Saturday night after the clash Tommy appeared on Roots FM. here is a recording of the radio session (thanks to Roliesoul)
