Saxon Sound on the South Bank

Massive Attack are organising the Meltdown Festival at London’s South Bank Centre this year. They are doing some interesting stuff, you can check it all here, but the real coup is Saxon Sound System on Queens Walk on Sunday 22 June for free. Queens Walk is the Thameside path way between Waterloo and Hungerford Bridges meaning that Saxon will be playing with full crew (Tippa Irie and Papa Levi are promised) over looking the Thames which can’t be bad. Start time is 3pm, there is no info available about when it finishes.
