      Dub Echoes on DVD

The documentary “Dub Echoes” shows how this Jamaican invention called dub ended up influencing much of the music we hear today, from electronic music to hip-hop, transforming the studio in a musical instrument and giving way to all of sonic experiments.

And so say the Dub Echoes team about their own film. With King Jammy, Bunny Lee and Lee Perry all having their say alongside the likes of Kode9, Roots Manuva and Howie B it would be hard to disagree.

This has been picked up for general DVD release by Soul Jazz who expect to release it later this month…one for the collection.
