Two Top Deck labels, Ghost Town by the Skatalites and Pictures Of Smoke by
Jackie Opel both from 1965. Jackie was one of the greatest singers of
the Ska era, as well as recording classic sides for Justin Yap he worked
with Leslie Kong and most notably Coxsone Dodd. His tragic death in a
car accident in his native Barbados in 1968 robbed not only Jamaica but
the entire Carribean of a great talent.
